About the band:  

AbandonTheory has developed a devoted following with their reggae influenced rock shows. Their first two CDs have been released on their own record label with plans to record a third this winter. They have been taking it on the road playing shows throughout the states. Their infectious songs, rhythmic grooves, and undeniable energy make the live show an unforgettable experience!

Listening to Abandon Theory is like finally having an all access pass to the amusement park while everyone else must ride the Merry-Go-Round!  Between lyrics that will quickly draw you into the Abandon Theory world and the frenzy inspiring dance music of “The Journey” or “Gotta Woman” they have developed a truly unique sound by fusing rock with reggae, folk, and funk.  A creation which has been termed by some as "Hobo-Ska" but everyone seems to have a different take on Abandon Theory.  With the arrangements and musical style ever-evolving, they have built a devoted following by forcing listeners to question common perceptions while sparking spontaneous dance-riots.
